romeo & juliet auditions!!
so i had to wait till 5 for justin to get out of toyschool rehearsals, and we were doing 1 last runthrough and the AD for childrens show was like "JUSTIN! COME ON! YOURE NEXT!" so we like RAN to backstage and waited....but people kept cutting infront of us! {evil freshman....ugh} so we ended up being the last people to audition, which was cool cuz it means our scene was the last thing doc remembers it the most. but so we start it and its going absolutly great and by the time we get to the first kiss i can hear macy and ashlea and sarah alexander like gasping and being all "ooooo!!!" and then we do the 2nd kiss, and it went great too, and then the scene's over and the whole theatre just BURST INTO APPLAUSE! and sarah stood up and everyone was just - "omg, it was great!!!" and so we go offstage and justin picks me up and swings me around, then we start talkin to alex cuz we were in the hall outside the antiroom and then the AD comes and is like "doc wants yall back onstage now!" so we were like "HOLY CRAP!!!!! YAY" and she was like "i want you to do it again, and justin speak up, and im going to cut you off." so we do a little bit of it and it goes fine and then she stops us and was like "ok, thank you very much" - but not in that "GOD GET OFF MY STAGE" kinda way, but like in that "thank you, you actually did good" way. and we walked out into the lobby and macy, ashlea, sarah, lee, danielle, niki, valerie, ashleigh, jayme, and all these other ppl are just like "OH MY GOD YALL WERE AMAZING!!!!!!" and the AD came out and said that too, and then greylin comes RUNNING down the hall and just like tackles me and was like "YOU DID GREAT!" it was the best feeling in the world! walking by people i didnt even know, but i admire just cuz they're upperclassmen theatre majors and hearing them talk about ME!!! and in a good way! they were actually like "they did great!" it's crazy! im totally in shock - im still floating on a cloud, wow... yay!
