4 Icons for am_rumble + Commentary :D
So Round 2 over at am_rumble ended and I somehow winded up in tenth place (which is surprising, cuz I mean o.O I didn't even submit for like two challenges or vote half the time but ok). It was absolutely amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend anime iconers to join because it's a great way to gain experience & even though I hardly submitted a new round is coming up soon! :)
Challenge 1 - /didn't submit. I completely forgot. I didn't even vote either /.\
Challenge 2
I don't know about this icon. I really liked it at first and then it got very annoying. I do like the second icon on the right though but unfortunately because of my brilliant mind I forgot to save it as a .pdn file. /sobs
Anyways, I do like this icon in the end. It's a terribly made icon with absolutely no imagination whatsoever (cuz i mean come on, I'm terrible at blocking)
Challenge 3
I actually did this in flat out twenty minutes just so I wouldn't have nothing to submit. I hate this icon with a passion. I honestly had to find a background for Naruto, which wasn't hard, but still ugly. The coloring is awful and pale and I can't fathom why I didn't realize the deadline was sooner than I had thought it was. I absolutely hate icons like these and I'm so terribly disappointed with this icon.
Challenge 4 - I truly did want to submit something, but as always, I forgot /.\

I can't really say I hate the first icon but I sure wish I hadn't placed that ugly light texture on top of it. I had no idea what I was thinking at the time, since I thought it looked too plain. The font choices were awful even though I admit that the choice of text was a stroke of genius (?). That's pretty much the only thing that really bugs me since I think it would've looked a lot better if I hadn't been in one of my light texture moods -.-
The bonus icon I think is pretty cute!
I love the coloring I used with that icon, though now I can't remember exactly what I did (dammit I need to start saving my .pdn's more often /sob) Also pikachu makes any icon look cute. I have yet to see a bad pokemon icon so I am rather pleased with my little childhood themed bonus.
