So, a little over 1/8th of the Upper School is out sick, and this is with 58 out (not including those who left early) on Thursday, and I know more were out yesterday. Anyone know exact numbers? Em's had flu type 2 (like every one else), and now my mom is gettting sick. I refuse. I've been downing orange juice and other things with Vit. C like there's no tomorrow. But I'm already losing my voice, so today will be interseting, as we have anoher recital. Bleh. And there's 2 of them, because there's one tomorrow too. And I really hope my nerves stay in tact, because of the small space, it makes me more nervous. Dunno why. I'm fine singing on a big stage, but not in a tiny room with about 35 people crammed in.
History, well, sucked. Our movie was so horrible, and I kept saying "um" every 5 words, and started panicking and kept looking at my notes more than I should have. Ugh. I'll be lucky to get a B. At least my flow chart was completely awesome, and was probably way too long, but it incuded everything about the Haitian Revolution. I now know more about that than I ever wanted to, along with the politics of Haiti, but oh well. Maybe it'll work for next year's NaNoWriMo which I'm going to complete, because I will kick myself if I don't.
And I no longer feel guilty about my dislike for J-Dramas! Sorry, but if you look at them from an acting perspective, they just seem like a bad soap opera, plus the overdramatics that work in anime and manga just really don't work well on film, partially because it is film. For example, in film, to look like you're standing next to a person like you would normally (no special relationships), you have to be 2 inches or less away from them, becuase other wise, it looks like you're miles apart. (speaking from own awkward experience). But I have a partial agreement with Fuu! And I'm not so alone!!! Sorry, just needed to get that out there.
RIght, I should probably get ready, as I have to be there in about 2 hours.... Don't let me do this....
