Merry Chrismas!!!
So, I have a need to squee for a moment. Yes, I said I didn't want presents, but my parents are good at locating things I want without any previous indication. ^_^ I got new, warm, fuzzy socks that are in a lovely dark brown, a $25 Best Buy gift card (anime/games here i come!), a $15 iTunes gift card from Laura, another $15 gift card from Bed, Bath and Beyond from Emmy (new bedding! Yay!), loverly, soft bamboo fabric pyjama pants from Soma with an adorable panda print, and the Apple gift card with money for a new iPod. ^_^ And we're getting to visit my uncle, aunt and cousin on Saturday, where my Christmas/birthday present from my 30-something year old, anime obsessed cousin (who is in the German military, and I never get to see) resides, and I look forward to that, because he encourages the unhealthy addiction that we share. ^_^ Yay! Things are turning out ok, after all.
I ended up being able to get a couple of DVDs for my sisters that they wanted, and a DVD set for each of my parents. This was all bought last minute, and I had mentioned it to my parents, and they had gone out while I was sick and bought them for me using my bank card. I feel no guilt, and I'm really grateful they did that for me.

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONEE-CHAN (nierielle)!!!!! Hope things are doubly special for you! My family wishes you a happy birthday as well, and I think my mom and dad have decided you're some wierd relation with the really long titles (2nd cousin, twice romoved, relatied by marriage, and so on. ^_^). See you soon! And call on New Years! (We need to start talking joint birthday celebrations... My mom is getting worried we won't have enough time...)
