This mqy be a bit long

I wrote this bit yesterday:

Just finished a game of hearts. I won, with a score of eight! That’s really good, btw. I shot the moon once by accident. It’s not good that it was by accident, but hey, it worked out.

Today was so good. I woke up super late, and after that I went to Becca’s correspondant’s house. Claire came too. The pretense was to do homework, but mine is still locked in the basement of the school. So I just wrote stuff down on a piece of paper and I’ll do it on the bus on the way to Normandy. Where we are going on Monday. I finished all of my history and chem. Though. Just got to read Macbeth, write a paper, do an enormous math packet, and the French NOVEL.

Anyway, after all our brains were fried from math we ate a box of chocolate cookie things. Then talked for a while. Then started to play DESTINS, which is LIFE, but in French. I had to explain to them how to play. So we didn’t finish before it was time for me to go. Becca and Claire walked me back to the metro stop, and we attempted to get my hw from the school. The lady at the gate was very happy to talk to us but refused to let us into the building. So basically we were detained chatting with this annoying lady for a while, then we escaped and I got on the train.

After a minute or so, I realized I’d gotten on the wrong train. At the next stop I got off, waited for the right train, got on, and went home. At the stop where I got off I had some issues with the streets. I am perfectly aware that I have very little sense of direction, but I wandered around for a while before finding the right way to go. Then I got home and it was dark and there were some sketchy looking people. I was very proud of myself.

Then the building was locked as always, and I didn’t know how to get in. Finally some lady came and I just followed her. In the elevator I was met by the step father who realized that I didn’t have to code, and was coming to wait for me in the entrance hall.

That was exciting and I was very proud of myself for getting home alone. Okay, that was today. Now Charlotte is over and we’re just hanging out.

and this today

Woke up really late, then had lunch. After that, we (minus steph) went to the Tour Montparnasse. It’s the tallest building in Paris, and it’s pretty tall. We rode up to the top and looked around at the views. It was beautiful. I took an obscene amount of pictures. We watched a video about Paris up there, and I finally bought something touristy to fill my quota of one tourist thing.

We walked around for a while, and while we were inside a complex of some sort, it started to hail. I’ve only seen hail one other time in my life, and that was in July. They were rather frightened of it, because they don’t have weather here. It has not done anything other than spatter for several minutes once or twice the whole month. We basically ran to the train station after the hail stopped and it got sunny again because they were worried about the rain/hail.

Yes okay. When we got back to the house I made a beaded fox with Camille. She made a ring. I’m quite proud of the fox. I have no idea how it worked. She just sort of cut the thread and gave me beads and a pattern and about two and a half hours later there was a little fox. I’ll photograph him for the next update of photos. Which is not today, so don’t check :D .

While beading, we watched Charmed. It’s Camille’s favorite show. They show it in Primetime here, it’s a lot bigger here than in the States. I didn’t really get it. It was the second half of a double episode too, which made it even more confusing.

Okay, my battery is about to go. So I shall save this and post.

Emmmm
