Today

Today was quite good. Very American movie with French dubbing. First I slept until noon, then I had a bowl of Miel Pops (which are very good) then I watched the Olympics for a while. Then I ate lunch. Then I watched Indedpendence Day in French which was cool. I’ve seen it once before, on the bus on the way home from NYC on the daytime trip.

After that we got more food and played a board game which is sort of like LIFE but more investment and bill and otherwise economically oriented. It was in Francs. That was cool too.

So that takes us up to this time. Nineteen hundred hours. I was thinging of watching JAG in French, but I figured its so speaking-based that I wouldn’t get it if I hadn’t previously seen the episode. Which I probably have, because I’ve seen many. Also, they spell it Jag, not JAG. Which is just blatantly wrong. Thought you should know.

Observation: when we were walking around yesterday, people probably thought that we were a family. Mother, father, daughters. The fact is that we were four people with four different last names, only two of whom are actually blood-related to each other. Hm.

After I wrote this entry, I listened to most fo the first half of RENT. Then I looked it up on the internet. And now I get it. Yay.
