Me, my TV and Movies =)
Ha, at last an actual update, I've surprised myself really! Let's see, what is going on with me? I have one more week of school and then I am on break for a month, woo hoo =D I am completely jealous of people who are done already! Unfortunately, the next week consists of writing two papers, taking an exam, and watching and transcribing a video tape of myself (AWKWARD!!!) But I have it all under my belt, I think my days of school related nervous breakdowns are over, and I have come out on the other side all the wiser.
Some things to be happy about - It's Christmastime, my favorite =D Along with Christmas comes the HE Christmas cards, which makes me utterly happy. I got my first one today, and I will be sending mine out soonly =) Also, I am enjoying the
inthefuturepast HP Survivor Poll quite massively. I mean, it combines two of my favorite things, HP and Survivor! I can't wait for the next results to be posted =D I am pretty sad that my 3 favorite characters (Dobby, Neville, Dumbleydore) are all in the same voting group, meaning that after Barty Crouch Jr gets out, I will have to take blood from one of my beloved =(
Ohhh, here's something to REALLY be excited about - Tomorrow I am getting a Tiffany's necklace, from work of all places. Yes, the cheap company that pays me lamely and doesn't give me benefits bought me a Tiffany's necklace!
In other news, I want the writers and the networks to love each other again! OK, I know I am being narrow minded, but the main thing I care about is not losing my TV...I want more Gossip Girl! Btw, I haven't seen this week's episode, so please don't spoil =)
ANTM - *SOBS* *WEEPS* Um, did that really happen? Our little Heather =( She was just so down to earth and she took beautiful pictures. It's totally fair that they sent her home, since this week was already kind of her second chance, but I dun have to like it =( I'm not entirely sure who I'm rooting for now. Definitely NOT Bianca or Saleisha...Which leaves Chantal and Jenah. I suppose I am rooting for them both equally. I like Chantal's personality better, but she isn't horribly stunning. Jenah's pictures are HOT, but especially after this week, I have had enough with her attitude.
Project Runway - I can has male models!?!? They definitely spiced up the episode! Too bad menswear is so boring that it can't really be a regular thing on the show =( I'm not sure I agreed with the winner; I didn't like the stripes on stripes thing really. Although I was sad to learn about Jack having HIV...I wanted Kevin's outfit to win! Black men + bright color = teh sexyness =D (If only I could convince my boyfriend of this!) And all I have to say is that Ricky and Sweet P are damn lucky that Carmen screwed up his her outfit so royally. In a normal week, those outfits would have definitely gotten them auf'd! And I am falling madly in love with Steven =)
Hmmm, let's see, I'll give a brief movie update too, why not? For whatever reason, everything I've seen lately is in the Family genre, so if that doesn't interest you, I've got nothing for ya. I already relayed my incredible amazement with Enchanted, so I won't go there again. But seriously, if you haven't seen it, you're missing out! Um, Bee Movie was pretty unoriginal and lame. I have no clue why Jerry Seinfeld chose this as his first project in nearly ten years, but oh well. I'm pretty sure it's out of most theatres by now, but just in case, don't waste your time. Fred Claus was cute, but don't expect your typical Vince Vaughn slapstick. But if you're going for a cute family holiday movie, it's very cute and fuzzy =) Oh, and I also saw Mr Magorium's. It was decent (I don't think it deserved the F from Entertainment Weekly), but I'd say see ENCHANTED and Fred Claus first. It was really cute, but a little too cheezy, even for a sap like me.
