- Well, first things first, it looks like I'll definitely be sticking with the Residential Counselor job. In other words, I didn't get the Case Manager position =P I was pretty crushed when I found out (sending the rejection letter was a nice courtesy, but part of me wished they'd just not contacted me), but I think this job will be a lot of fun, and ultimately, I will be happier if I'm not working full time in addition to school (the Case Manager job would not have had a part time option) So it's off to my orientation bright and early all week, and then the next week I will finally start working at the job for reals!
- I hung out with my BFFL (sounds stupid, I know, but I think it's the only proper title) Kristan tonight, so yay for that! Our schedules completely don't match, so I don't see her as much as I see most of my friends, but I am always very happy when I do. I love love love to talk to her; she has been through 100x more crap in life than I ever have, but she is still always WAY positive and hopeful. And yay for Blondie's frozen yogurt! (It's a little yogurt/ice cream shop near my house/school that I've recently discovered - cute and delish!)
- Oh, and I would definitely recommend Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, I think I liked it better than the first one. The actresses are made of win, and it is just overall super cute! And I would also REALLY recommend the books if you are female and haven't read them yet. Yes, they are a bit high school, but I promise you will find A LOT you can relate to, and you will fall in love with all the girls. And if you have any younger sisters/friends who are teenage girls, I'd DEFINITELY for sure recommend the books to them! *End fangirl-ing*
Well, biggest shock of all, I'm headed off to bed! Have to get up bright and early tomorrow, and I'd feel slightly disrespectful dozing off at my orientation, especially since there will only be a handful of people (ie, nowhere to hide)
