OMG, I have like, no respect for the judging panel right now!! Let me just start out by saying that Whitney is my GIRL! I think she is gorgeous, funny, confident, blah, blah, blah...However, she has been given too many chances! This was her third time in the bottom, and Kata's first. Kata was never given a fair shot! She has had many, many FABULOUS pictures. The judges warned her for her supposed "lack of personality", the next week she brought it. Basically, Tyra never seemed to give her full recognition for her ridiculous amounts of talent.
Whitney has already messed up A LOT! She, too, has had some great shoots, but overall, she tends to stick to one type of look and posing, like she did this week in particular. Her faults throughout the competition have been many, from "sucking in her cheeks", to being "too fake", to the predictable poses from week to week. Kata has performed so well every week, this was the first week that she was a little off! GRRR!!! I would be ecstatic to see a plus-sized girl win, and I love Whitney, but I just don't think that is a reason to keep cutting her slack. Because honestly, I think her size has been a big mitigating factor in helping her stick around this long. It is just ridiculous how much it comes down to being a personality contest; shouldn't modeling ability be the driving force being considered here?! GRRR!!
