My computer still is not fixed. :'( I hope that the computer guy has it ready tomorrow. Of course I am not eager to part with $180, but I AM eager to get my computer back

Haha, so true! We are too important for trivial, real-life stuff! :P
Oh, yeah... how could I forget? Ji Sung Park is definitely not my idea of an attractive man -- but the Koreans sure do love them. All of the Koreans of whom I asked the question, "What's your favorite soccer/football team?" responded with Manchester United -- and always mentioned Park, haha.
It's not an exchange, really. I just decided that I wanted to go to Korea and learn Korean, so I researched to see which universities in Seoul had Korean language programs and Seogang University was reviewed as one of the best. I can get six credit hours for this if I want, but I doubt that I will get an 'A,' so I will probably just end up taking the classes for my own benefit instead of having my grade ruin my GPA!
I'll be there from May 25th until August 17th. ^^ I have one week upon arriving in the States until I start my fall semester, haha. I am sure that I probably won't have much of a choice in eating lots of kimchi. I really like it with rice, but I am not an avid fan of it by itself. I prefer bulgogi and yummy other things! ^^
I know yeah?!? I used to watch Arirang TV when I visited my mum overseas, and they did a special on Ji Sung. It showed like crowds of people piling into bars and stuff in full-on ManU gear at like 2 or 4 in the morning if they know he's playing. You should fully try that when you get there!!! And take pics!
I'm expecting lots of pics coz I plan to live this experience vicariously!
I wish that I were determined enough to find an exchange. We do have one to South K and Japan, but they're linked to the Arts Faculty, (all the Business ones are in Europe... hmm Lahmmy??!) so I've missed out. But you know, I really have difficulty trying to learn Korean. I don't know why... but Japanese just comes easier (or perhaps longer).
THREE MONTHS!! Wow. That's AMPLE time to go look for the love of your life. And mine too. AHAHAHHA. I will find time to go to a Korean restaurant and commemorate your trip! As for Korean groups, tbh I'm new to it. I am much more of a J-pop person, but right now I'm loving the BBF OST. I've got about 6 songs from it in the CD in my car and "Starlight Tears" is my favourite.
Haha, I am pretty excited because I will be in Korea for the Champions' League final. And, since ManU is in the final, I know that those same crowds of people will be in the bars to watch the game. I better be sure to bring my ManU jersey with me! I also need to find out which bar to go to! That will only be my second full day, so I doubt I'll know Seoul well enough! kkk
Don't worry; I will be sure to take PLENTY of pictures and write about my trip here on LJ as often as I can!
That stinks! There are plenty of famous businesses in Korea -- like Samsung and Hyundai! I'm surprised that there is no exchange program for that!
Haha, let me know what you get to eat when you go to the restaurant! I would definitely recommend bulgogi! :)
Ah, yes, MANY recommendations. Here's just a few: Bi Rain, DBSK/TVXQ, SHINee, FT Island, 2PM, 2AM, AJ, Super Junior, and Big Bang (in no particular order).
