WOW. So a LOT has happened since the beginning of last semester. Not surprising since the end of this semester is only about a week away! I have neither the time nor the desire to write about everything that has happened since my last journal entry, so I will just stick with the basics.
Let's see...
+ I quit my sorority.
+ I've picked up more hours with my tutoring job with the athletes (which I have begun to love and actually enjoy!)
+ I've started teaching Spanish to PreK and 2nd graders in the Co-op program.
+ I am graduating a year early (I'll graduate in May 2010).
+ I've become obsessed with Korean culture.
+ I had my first boyfriend ... for three months (although we only hung out four times, hah).
And...
I'M GOING TO SOUTH KOREA THIS SUMMER!!
Haha, I never would have thought this possible a year ago, but that's the plan!
After I graduate, I really want to teach English abroad and the pay is good in Asia. And, since I already like Korean culture, I figured South Korea would be a good place in which to get my feet wet.
I leave the States on the 24th of May -- less than a month from now!
I am so excited!!
But also nervous! I've never traveled on my own before.
And learning Korean ... eek!!
