(no subject)
My first day home alone! :(
P went back to work today, and as I'm still populating the world of the unemployed, I have the house to myself. So far, I've done the washing up, put a load of clothes on to wash, eaten lunch, had a bath, watched neighbours, and started writing a short piece of fic.
Currently in the process of sticking up my posters/pictures etc on my half of the study. Funny to think that I've had some of the same stuff on my walls since the second year of Uni! (Also realised I need to print off a copy of the pic used for my icon, because to not have Nic on my wall is something of a travesty that I don't think he'll forgive me for *snerk*)
The weekend has gone really well; had our housewarming gathering on Saturday night and it was great to see everyone and meet a few more of P's friends that I hadn't met previously. We now have more cake and pringles than you can shake a stick at, and a lovely orchid (thanks Rach!!! *hugs*) lurking in the living room. Sunday night we had P's prospective Best Man over to dinner with his wife so that P could ask him officially, and needless to say, it was in a rather inebriated state that we all parted at some hour late in the evening :-P
Going to pootle off now and type up the ficlet so far - might even be *really* industrious and get it finished today, but not holding my breath lol.
