American Idol was fun tonight...Do these poor people not have friends? Isn't someone going to tell them that they don't have talent before they go wait in a three day long line just to get embarassed on national t.v. The highlight of tonights episode was definately the poor little guy singing "Thriller" with a lisp. He even forgot most of the words! Then there was this girl from Greensboro, NC and let me tell you, she was amazing. Her voice was so good, I almost fell out of my chair. She sang BILLIE friggin HOLIDAY. You can't sing her songs unless you know what the hell you're doing. No falscetta people, no fake little poppy voices, you have to know how to sing JAZZ. You have to be all over the place with your voice. I was amazed.

I'm gonna make my LJ friends only pretty soon, fyi.

ETA: FINANCIAL AID! It's like a national holiday for college students!
