I am totally thrilled to announce the arrival of my brand new nephew, Jacob on Aug 10th at the lovely hour of 3:16am!!!

He is as cute as a button and seems sweet (he doesn't do much yet)!

that's me trying not to drop him!!

yay for cute babies giving me at least 2 more years before Ryan and i start hearing "So....."!!!

You do look so serious with him, like a Madonna. Jacob is a great name. Isn't August 10th a little earlier than they were expecting him? Are he and Becky all healthy and well?

he was due the 24th, so 2 weeks early, just like luke was.

becky and jacob are both fine, becky had a quick labor and is already at home.

luke says jacob is "his baby", like becky didn't do all the work! he wants to know when Jacob can ride bikes. it's pretty funny.

i didn't mean to look so serious, but i'm used to luke and jacob is so tiny!!!

Luke is so flippin' cute! Most kids his age would be really jealous and annoyed by the baby, but it sounds like he's happy to have a brother. How great!

well, he is acting out in other ways, like refusing to eat or take baths, but he is 3, so, it could be anything...

i know, it;s sickening. i'm sort of terrified to have kids for fear they *won't* be as amazingly easy!!

plus, luke is getting presents, visitors and special treats. who wouldn't love that??
