peace up a-town down
way awesome weekend. here are the highlights:
-being in the car for 5 hours straight w/ erin. "so...uh....back to _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ hahaha."
-erin knowing that a frame in jr's house was $5.99 from hallmark w/ a 3 card purchase
-getting the grand tour of jr's houses, yes plural, as in he has two which are both cute and awesome.
-sitting in nick vandermollen's basement and discovering that everyone really does say "totally sweet" and "SO good"
-seeing eric and jr (who has short hair! nuts! looks good tho, id say)
-seeing the ninja pit! picture a big forest. with a small clearing in one part. and a ginormous hole in the ground. with ninja's jumping in and out of it. thats the ninja pit. sweet eh?
-being able to see stars. like lots of them.
-staying up till 5 am w/ eric and jr.
-seeing the sights of alpena which include:
:the alpena mall, which consists of ONE hallways. yep. ONE. they have jc penny's, claire's, fashion bug, fye, payless and a few others. oh yeah, it is ONE hallway. crazy, i know.
:downtown alpena. so small, but so cute.
:the beaches. lake huron. oh and more beaches. and lots of water. a harbor. and really pretty views. um yeah, it is gorgeous there. they are just surrounded by beauty. (even when im not there. haha kidding).
-being at ktb's. and going on the jet ski. and screaming alot. and having bon fires and listening to kc play brand new on the guitar. and eating (ktb is destined to be a gourmet chef) and making friends w/ kaylee.
-chit chatting w/ ktb before going to sleep
-having nothing to do but enjoy the wonderful company and nature surrounding me.
-realizing God has blessed me w/ alot of great people in my life
so i had a great 5 hour drive home today. it was kinda sad. the drives home are always the worst. we always have these great trips and then sad drives home. i was alone on my drive. it was good and sad at the same time. good bc i had time to reflect and sad cos i dwell on things. wayne texted me during my drive home and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time. it will be nice to see him again in august. it will be nice to see alot of people in august.
i miss you guys. alot.
