Happy Day, Canada!!!
The fireworks here were cancelled, alas, although I wouldn't really have been able to see them anyway.
REHEARSAL HAS STOLEN MY LIFE!!!!
Seriously, how do you actors do it? From now on I'm pretty much vowing to stay behind the curtain where I belong! I think I thrive on the chaos and second-by-second panic of backstage life, versus the hours and hours of line runs. Now that being said, we haven't had our first performance yet, and I *am* excited, and I'm sure it will be good times.... but for now..... I'M TIRED OF STANDING AROUND AT A FORT ALL NIGHT.
Oh ps everyone, I'm in a play! It has stolen my life, but in general it's good times ^_^ It's a part of the Bermuda 400 year anniversary, and is being staged at one of the Forts, which is pretty damn cool. Except that whole...the fort wasn't built in 1609 so why aren't we doing this down on the beach... thing. To sum up my character think something along the lines of "bubbly and pregnant" @_@
Other than having to be all maternal and stuff its a lot of fun, my first time acting in a full play since I was 6 or so! When things are rolling along its actually a fun process to be a part of. Seeing how things all come together, getting comfortable with lines and then trying to interact as your character with the other ppl in your scene... so weird!
But it has left me completely without energy, so off I go. Sorry for the lack of real content.
