No, seriously. What? Antonio Banderas came in asking for b chicks and a baby bunny and flowers for...a man? I am very confused. However, it's a lovely thing to have read while listening to the mix my friend dubbed Tea and Crumpets.

Antonio Banderas?? What...??? *narrowing eyes and filling the air with obscenities.*
I thought you had read some of Ms. Rice's books.

The mix sounds good, though real tea and crumpets would go down even better with good music right now. ; P

Yah, he's who they got to play Marius. It was ridiculous. Remember? Long, straight hair, wtf? But he was sexy.

What the heck is a crumpet, anyway?

Are you on crack, missus?!! Banderas played Armand, badly. It was the lovely Vincent Perez who played Marius in the 2nd hideous attempt.....but let's leave it. You're right it was ridiculous and upsets me still. Sexiness notwithstanding.

A wondrous sacred English thing, best served toasted with lashings of melted butter, a cup of tea and a good book on a cold Sunday Afternoon.
I can say no more. It's not that it's secret, it's just I am ruining my keyboard with drool. ; P

oh yeah you're right!! but I think I've blocked that horrid 2nd film, nearly right down to the lovely Townsend. Mmm...he's glorious.

My friend said, "See! That's what I want to dedicate a mix to!" when I read him your description of a crumpet. His mix has not garnered many positive reactions and he's decided he can retool it if necessary, to get that kind of feeling.
