Hello everyone in LiveJouranl land! I apologize for my lengthy absence. I just have some exciting news that has to be recorded here and I'm hoping perhaps some of my LJ buddies might be interested.
I have recently been pushing my sewing hobby into a higher gear.
The last faire we did I was finally convinced by my sweet other half to make something to sell at our boothe. I made six tote bags with a skull and cross bones and sold out! That was a big confidence booster, so in turn I opened up an online store to sell my quirky creations. David has been so supportive and I thank him for filling my life with magic everyday. He bought me a serger for Christmas which was a thrill because it's a sewing machine that makes my job so much easier and quicker. Thank you my love...I owe you big time
I've been having such a ball making these bags and I've actually been selling them which is a thrill. Below are pics of some of my creations. I'm also happily taking commissions so please let me know if there is something specific you'd like for yourself or for a one of a kind gift. All of the motifs are designed and drawn by me and I love coming up with new stylized versions of animals and symbols.
