Comment: Just a little something that came to my mind. There's actually some ideas for making this into a longer story, away from how the show might continue and going more into H/W friendship/shippiness then. So please let me know what you think and if you'd like this to continue from here.

"Over to you, William. What's it goin to be?"
His mind was spinning at such a pace that he almost missed out on the former vampire adressing him. Out of sheer instinct - and maybe a bit of a habit by now - his eyes instantly snapped to Magnus'. His keen gaze taking in her concerns, her silent bidding and the slighty paler than usual coloring of her face.
If he had been unsure before, his mind was now set and he could tell by the way she gazed back at him that she knew. It wasn't as if he had a choice in the matter, really. Of course, she would argue with that and his decision - and she would be right in a way, after all he was indeed about to jeopardize all their work of the last months. But somehow, in this very moment of time, Will just couldn't bring himself to care. Not with her life at stake - once more.
"Never ask me to kill you again." His own words echoed vividly within his mind.
When his gaze shifted back to Tesla his position had changed, straightened, and there was something in his eyes. Something akin to determination that brought a whole new authority to Will's voice as he finally spoke.
"Show it to him."
He turned to Druitt, continuing on without so much as a pause between sentences.
"If he pulls any stunts - either one of 'em - I don't feel responsible for what happens."
The slight smirk with which Druitt covered his surprise would have been unsettling in any other situation, to say the least. "Of course." The reply was smooth, containing a hint of amusement, as he took hold of a prosteting Tesla's sleeve only to have them both disappear a moment later. Not however without the courtesy of a mock bow given to Will's general direction.
It was only then that Will allowed himself the intake of a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, Magnus." He then said, voice still surprisingly firm even to his own ears; his eyes snapping back to hers, if only for a moment. And he was, but not for the choice he had made.
With that said, he turned and left the room, not sure himself wether he was fleeing her response or Henrys or nothing more than his nagging consciousness. Part of him still feelin guilty for betrayin his mentor's trust; even though in his mind there was no doubt that it was the right thing to do. Even though it might well save her life - be it despite her own will.
