(no subject)
What a day.. It's not even 10pm and I'm ready to drop dead on my bed. Can't of course, because the dog needs to go out again later..
However, may day in short: Woke up and recognized Dolly had lost it in the kitchen again, cleaned up, walked her on our morning round which is around 45 minutes, fed her, cleaned my entire apartment (it was about time again), walked the dog again but only 20 minutes approximately because it was to hot for both of us, went to work for 4 hours, came home and walked the dog again (something over an hour).. somewhere in between there was (lots of) cuddling, cleaning her ears and eyes and 45 minutes of brushing, because Dolly can't get enough of it. XD
So as you see it was a rather busy day in comparison to my usually quiet life. But of course I knew it would get busier with the dog and it's fine. I think I just need to get used to it as much as her.
However, there was success too! Dolly now follows "Sit", "Stay", "Come here", "Leave it" and "Go pee" perfectly (I was told she knew them before, but I could swear they weren't used often - just like everything else regarding her was neglected). She's still getting used to "Here at foot" and "Lay down", but for the short time we're making great progress.. and I don't want to bombard her with orders to much. Point is she's getting the hang of it very quickly and seems to be quiet clever. We even walked without the leash for the first time today and she behaved well. *happy dance*
So, what else to tell? Work was the common craziness that I'm used too and aside from this and what I've already told nothing major happend. Ah, well.. before I forget: Will upload some more pictures later, so make sure to check out Twitpic in about an hour or two. :)
