#68 I’m not GI Jane, I’m attachment barbie!
So today was like a real day at university. Will be my busiest day with 2 lectures and one course. Tomorrow I have to get up way to early for my lecture, only good thing is I just have that one and will spend the rest of the day getting my room reading formy furniture, so get all the stuff properly together, clean the floor and make sure nothing is in the way. I actually wanted to meet up with a friend for breakfast, but she chanceled, which I kind of expected and it’s still bad. Haven’t seen her for years and last time we spoke on MSN she said she is pregnant and I wanna see if there is already something to see^^ Well hopefully next week.
For the record, I was super socializing today. I figured that I have’t been in such akward situations for a while. I remember that it was weird to make new friends in school but it was actually not that complicated since you saw everybody every day and could connect super fast. University is making it pretty hard, you don’t see everybody so much, just when you’re lucky and have a lot of moduls together. Then people live all over the place and for some reason nobody I met is close to me. Well no actually there is an old friend from school I just ran into today, she lifes a bit further from me. But her studies are pretty intense, she studies law and we have to see how much time we really can spent together. So back to akward university socializing, I sat in front of two girls I met last week at the introduction lecture, they said Hi and I switched seats to them, but couldn’t remember their names. Don’t know if they knew mine, but I felt a tiny bit embaressed. Then I met a sweet girl in the course afterwards and decided sponatniously to meet with her later for a movie thing people from her faculty organize every Tuesday night. We saw ‘A hard days night’, really funny and of course great music. Not sure though if I go there every week, I have to get up early on Wednesday as I mentioned and I’ll have to read a lot for that English lectures&courses. I just hope I’ll finish ‘Sense&Sensibilty’ in time, I never planned on reading it like that, I wanted to pick up a Jane Austen novel when I have nothing else to read and no due date. So heading off to bed now, alarm goes off around 6.15 am *sigh*
Grey’s Anatomy||7x03 Superfreak
I know this season is just 3 episodes old, but this definitly is one of my favorites in general. Webber and Alex were so much fun and it was great how the chief took Alex on that elevator ride and didn#t let him out until he got bored and was not scared anymore. April really stepped up for me, this is the first episode where I really liked her. When she exploded in the pub I was laughing so much how everybody got quiet. For me it was really unfair how everybody teased her about being a virgin with…28 I think she said she is. I was especially happy that she told Lexi why Mark is actually staring at her. I mean it made Lexi go to his place, my shipper heart was flying so high and then crashed because he was making out with Amelia. Darn, I just started liking Amelia and now that! As I know myself I still like her and forgive Mark, Bailey was simply right when she called him a whore. I just wish he’d be done with being that. Hopefully Lexi is not pulling back again. She knows Mark so I hope she can forgive him. But back to Amelia, the dynamic between her and Derek was really interesting, I wonder if there is a sister he actually likes without hesitation. And Meredith was wonderful trying to be the diplomat. What else? Christina makes me nuts when she is not herself, she belongs in that damn OR she knows that how can she possibly be thinking that she’d be happy as a plumber (that comparision was cute btw)? I hope they get her back to her old self, Christina being scared is nothing I want to see too long. It was cute how she crawled into Meredith bed (maybe she and Owen should move in with them?) and then Dereks talk with Owen about it was hilarious! Arizona and Callie are awesome as ever and after making out in front of Owen and Christina (I’m still thinking if that was a little bit of a plan to get them out without being rude and ask again and again) they’ll be alone in that appartment quick. Teddy was great, finally I saw her out of the ove triangle she was in before, good for her. Oh and I totally forgot how hilarious Bailey was when that spider came out of that guys hand…I know I would’ve done the same, but I’m not even close to be though like her so it wouldn’t be a surprise.
Private Practice||4x03 Playing God
So now Sam and Addison is super official. I was expecting more of a reaction from everybody. I know they have their own stuff to deal with, but not gossiping at all? At least Namomi had some reaction. Not that I liked it that much, but wel it probably has something to do with my Naomi dislike in general. But seriously what she said to Addison was not nice and there is no ‘I’m hurt because you date my exhusband so I can call you cheater and selfish’ excuse, because there was no connection between what she said and the relationship between Addison and Sam. Anyway I think it’s nt fair at all for her as Addisons so called best friend to call her a cheater. She never cheated on Naomi si she has no right to say it at all. Actually Addison cheated just once on Derek, so I wouldn’t call her a cheater in general, But I have to admit at the same time the way Naomi presented that speech was kind of cute. With that paper and her nerves she looked a bit like she was giving a presentation in school. She is for me definitly more likeable when she is insecure. Oh and I love the kitchen scenes. They have this great dynamic with the quick character changes and all the movement with incoming and outcoming people which brings things in and out with a snap. Just that scene between Naomi and Sheldon in the kitchen ended a little weird to me, maybe I’m seeing ghosts but their conversation took a turn that looked like the writers seem to consider these two together. I hope I’m wrong. First because I think Naomi should take the wheelchair doctor (Fyfe or how you spell it, not sure yet and to lazy to look it up) and Sheldon and her just wouldn’t work. Sheldon is a poor one, first he didn’t get Violet (though I think they’d have been a great couple) and then he lost Charlotte to Cooper (wouldn’t have worked out anyway, Cooper and Charlotte are a great match, both super stubborn and complicated). Pete was great, in the beginning I was a bit worried about his excitement with his friends clinic, but he made the right choice in the end and when he threatened that doctor to call the cops next time I was impressed and happy that he saw that his friend went to far. So sweet of Violet to say they’ll make it work that he could have his hours in the emergency room. Charlotte was great, I love it when she stops hiding behind her tough attitude and is honest with Cooper and what she said showed so much that she is not cold or heartless at all, she is so much more vulnerable than she seems. And Cooper telling her in the end about the good memories he sees was so sweet, he knows much better how to handle his woman than before. And Amelia is back, no matter what she maybe did to my Grey’s ship, she is refreshing and I’m sp happy that she’ll stay now that she has the job in the practice.
How I met your mother||6x04 Subway Wars
How awesome was this episode? I mean the facts they put together to show Robin why she isn’t a real New Yorker and than seeing her doing all that stuff on one day? Almost legendaryxD Marshalls song was so funny, I have to check out if somebody cut it together on youtube. But the best was Barney, my little shipper heart was so happy after that episode. Okay he was a jerk at first but after that ride with Ranjid (this guy is just hilarious) and Robin you saw that he knew he screwed up (he did that sigh peopl always do when they know they were jerks). And he was great making it up though Robin probably didn’t recognized it (Ted did but well Ted wouldn’t tell her…I think). Seeing that she cried and tackling Ted down was maybe painful for Ted, but how cute was that little smile before he was mad that Robin won the race (or pretended to be mad actually fits more). They are maybe not getting back together right away, but I saw some good signs there, can’t wait to see what’s up next week.
