oh hey - forgot to share this gold with you. I got this from my girl amelie who does a blog type thing on pop culture. (Y'all should check it out its pretty funny ----> www.avclub.com/content/hater) Its an article that was in vanity fair entitle "Why women aren't funny" and it seeks to explain just that (full article here: http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2007/01/hitchens200701?currentPage=1) My favorite line:
"In any case, my argument doesn't say that there are no decent women comedians. There are more terrible female comedians than there are terrible male comedians, but there are some impressive ladies out there. Most of them, though, when you come to review the situation, are hefty or dykey or Jewish, or some combo of the three."
Because as you know, fatties, lesbians, and jews hardy count as women at all do they?
