Day 01 - Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is.
Day 02 - Where you'd like to be in 10 years.
Day 03 - Your views on drugs and alcohol.
This should be interesting.
I like alcohol. And to an extent, I like drugs. Let's talk about drugs first.
One of my beliefs is that you can't knock something until you try it. So, I tried it. Most of it anyway. I've taken (in no particular order): pot, speed, heroin, LSD, ecstasy, ketamine, amyls, crystal meth, and cocaine. I will never, ever take most of those again. They are just bad. And I have an addictive personality as it is. I don't want to wind up like some people, lost to the drug.
I do, however, like LSD. And ecstasy. Though I haven't taken either for a few years now. Last time was 2 tabs of E at New Year's in 2008? 2009? I think. Sigh. I miss it. I miss the mind bending and the floatiness. The love, even if it is chemically induced.
Quite a few years ago I was with a group of friends and we were off our nuts more often than not. I have some lovely memories from that. The George concert where we had a love-in. The night with the pegs. *shivers*
Oh, to be young and beautiful again...
I hate pot with a particular passion. It's such a stupid, stupid drug. My ex (the one I ended up in blood with) was a pot abuser. He was also a speed addict and an ex-heroin addict, so yeah, you can guess what that was like. You absolutely cannot tell me that pot does not have any negative side effects. Absolutely.
i will stop there because I have no desire to be all angry and I have to get ready for work soon.
I also don't get the appeal of speed. It just makes you do stupid things faster. *shrugs* The first time I had it, I ended up sitting upside down on a couch with my feet on the wall, bouncing a rubber ball and saying the alphabet backwards. WTF is up with that, seriously???
I've never had a bad trip, never had a bad drug experience. I suppose if I had, all this would be vastly different, but it's not.
Now as to alcohol, I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it.
I started drinking at a fairly young age. Growing up in a small country town, that was all there was to do. I was getting drunk and putting out like a pro in grade 11. I overdosed on Bundy in grade 12 and haven't been able to touch the stuff since. When I got my first job we were out drinking every night. I came so very, very close to being an alcoholic that my liver hurts just thinking about it.
The only thing that really stopped me was I fell in love when I was 21. And I wanted to remember it when we did stuff.
These days, I drink nice things, that I like, and I rarely get drunk. I generally drink alone, because with the hours I work it's easier that way. And I like sweet drinks and not everyone does. But I will go for months without one, then have a glass, and it's all good.
Eh. That's how it goes.
