(no subject)
I got cable yesterday, which is wildly exciting, so i am spending my one day off this week on the couch like a fat kid :)
The little girl I nanny for who is 13 weeks (a LOT younger than I first thought, she's just big for her age) is absolutely adorable. She's such a good baby and really enjoyable to be around.
I'm starting to get my apartment together.
Things I still want:
*A measuring cup that holds more than 1C
*a cast iron skillet
*an island for my kitchen
*a nice knife set
*an oven that doesn't have crazy temperature fluxuation
*some scraps of wood and fabric to make a wall hanging for my living room
*fabric to cover the ceiling in my bedroom
*a ladder so that I can hang my curtains
*a bigger rug for my living room
*a new bed
I'm watching america's best dance crew, and it's actually really cool
I have an amazing, loving, boyfriend who makes me feel special and who treats me wonderfully. I couldn't be happier than i am right now.
Went to Mac's last night. Might be my new favorite neighborhood hangout. Cheap beer, pool, darts, karaoke, bar video games; what more could i ask for?
This year is shaping up to be incredible.
Things I am looking forward to:
*starting my nursing classes in the fall
*gulf shores in may
*lots of camping/fishing/hiking/canoeing/boating this summer...tyler and I, along with some friends have already established that just about every weekend doing something outdoors
*Europe in December!!! :)
