I think your results in this quiz may actually be attributed to your trust issues rather than any form vampirism. You have difficulties putting control of your life in other peoples hands.
Wow...he kinda pegged you there darlin'. *hugs* The jpg text didn't make sense to me, either..but if Mute is right about the above meaning...carp that's a little creepy.
Vampire is a very paranoid, stab you in the back kind of game. They say you can't choose your family, but in the game a new family chooses you to join them in undeath. But why? Usually because your outlook or attributes match that of the clan your sire is a part of. Sometimes because your sire wants a pawn to use during interclan politics. Needless to say newly created and longtime vampires don't trust anyone for long.
See, I rarely, if ever, put any stock into these quizzes, because a) they are easily manipulatable, b) most ppl fit many of the results during different circumstances, and c) I believe that ppl fit somewhere along a sliding scale and not into pre-packaged categories (hence why I've drifted away from psychology over the last year - DSM annoys me - and towards Religious Studies). However, just like Tarot, I think that your answers can help read into your present state of mind.
That said, is it a bad thing that I have a hard time trusting? I'm actually naturally naive. I start out (in whatever situation) believing that ppl are good, and kind, and trustworthy...and then I get stabbed in the back, screwed over, kicked to the curb, etc., and I'm not sure that I ever trust again. What does that mean?
It means you understand me, understand more people than you think. I have some pretty harsh trust issues myself. I get screwed over and I'll try to expose the truth about that person to the whole world if I can. If someone betrays a relationship, be it social, personal or intimate, they will betray again because it is a survival mechanism. In the case of an intimate betrayal what chances do the rest of ones friends have? They rank as a much lower priority, why would they not get hurt by this person eventually? It's a waiting and watching game. If you wait long enough you will see a pattern. You will see which ones are the stones in the depths and which ones are just surface illusions with no dimension whatsoever.
I also agree with your argument towards the relevance of the tests. I used to take this one every month or so to see what changed and by how much. I used it to gauge my outlook.
That said, there is something to be said about the current state of being that is channelled into the test as you take it.
You did not score as a Mage because currently you lack the will to change any portion of the world around you. (Confidence issues) You did not score as a Changeling because you currently lack any feelings of wonder or beauty in the world around you. (Trust issues) You're not a Wraith because you're not tormented enough by your own inner demons. You're not a Werewolf because you are not in a position to defend anything.
Or you can tell me I'm full of it and we'll move on.
