(no subject)
I have not been updating my livejournal lately because...
- Reading about other people's lives is more fun than writing about my own.
- I have had schoolwork to do for the first time all semester.
- Facebook is just so much cooler. Though I do like LJ's pretty pink Valentine's theme.
But I decided to update...mostly for Melanie's sake because I heard she was complaining that everyone has abandoned their LJs. So here you go Melanick! (PS we TOTALLY have John Mayer concert tickets! You can thank Jon (my boyfriend Jon, not John Mayer) for that. Hey I used brackets within brackets).
I don't really have a lot to talk about. The last couple weekends have once again been awesome...the weekend before last was the Tragically Hip concert and Sens skills, which were both a lot of fun. Gord Downie is a crazy man! But they were definetely amazing live. And Sens Skills was great simply for the chance to see the players so close! My fav part of Sens skills (other than all of Alfie's smooth moves) - "I skate fast, do you? Will you show me?" This was a random kid's question to Jason Spezza.
Last weekend Jon was here which always makes for a great weekend. While he was here I invented a delicious shot...Tia Maria and Creme de Cacao. Tastes like peanut butter cups!!
Otherwise I have just been doing schoolwork, and procrastinating. Much more of the latter.
