Random update
So I figured I should actually post an entry instead of just a link as I have been doing the last little while...So what's new with me. I went home two weekends ago to help my mom Christmas decorate, an annual tradition. (Yes of course Christmas is an annual tradition...I meant the going home to help decorate). It was fun as usual, and we got a lot more done than we normally do. Christmas decorating at my house is not a one day thing...my mom and I pretty much work at it for 3 days straight and it's still not done by the time I leave. The depressing part of that weekend was that at first my cat Cleo didn't seem to recognize me and for the first two days I was home would run away when I tried to go near her...but then the third day she kept staring at me from doorways and then she finally seemed to realize, "Oh...it's YOU!" and then she loved me again.
Otherwise...life has mostly been school with the occasional dash of fun. Last Friday I went with Kristy and Rachael to see the Dixie Chicks documentary "Shut Up and Sing," which was great, then we went for drinks afterward. Mostly my fun has been happening in class...such as writing the "Students Against Potter" manifesto (of HATE) followed up by Meg and I's fabulous decision to add a little Bailey's to our hot beverages for our Potter class to keep us happy. And to stop us from standing up and yelling things like, "Stop acting so superior! I'll strangle you with your pink tie!" Of course, too much Bailey's happiness might have caused that too, so it was a fine line.
Someday the wrong person will discover I have not one but two entries about drinking in class on this journal and then I'll be screwed...
