Three down, two to go
Classes, that is. TAing is done for the semester too (thankyouthankyouthankyou). There will be a more detailed update on the whole first-year-PhD experience as soon as I finish finals next week. I'll be here over the summer doing research (mostly literature search) on energy optimization in microprocessors via job scheduling (aka "Processors are growing faster than batteries, oh shit what do we do?") Looks rather neat, but mostly glad to have that settled and know who I'm working with (my scheduling/algorithmics Prof, who was a good teacher and will hopefully be good to work under *crosses fingers*).
It was grand to see all of you who were at Founder's Day - hopefully will be seeing a bit more of some of you this summer.
