I am already incredibly frustrated by an inability to talk, so written communication seems to be the order of the day.
Wisdom teeth pulling went incredibly fast: in at 8, done by 9, out of the office before 10. Anesthesia was odd, in that I never felt like I dropped out, but clearly don't recall most of the procedure. As far as I can tell, they worked on the lower left for a couple minutes, worked on the lower right for a couple minutes (which hurt like hell - the doctor said after that they had to give me more local anesthetic midway through) and then they told me I was done. So, guessing I missed something in the middle there; this is good, because I did not want to be conscious during the proceedings.
In any case, I was completely lucid by the time they let me out of the chair but my mouth was still full of gauze, so I got to quietly fume while everyone treated me like an invalid. Thanks, but I can walk.
One of those little whiteboards from "Hush" would be perfect about now.
Edit: Also I have half of a blueberry-rhubarb pie remaining (that I baked a few days ago) and am no longer able to eat it. Boo.
But, my mom brought me lilacs to sit by my bed and smell nice. Yay!
