Greetings...
My cousin and grandma came to stay with us this week. Saturday I finally finished painting and rearranging my room. I just need to get some curtains and a rug. Ikea here I come. Later that night I took my cousin to Hollywood. We shopped around and took lots of pictures.
Sunday I picked Aimee up at 5 am and were on our way to Vegas. We made it in less than 4 hours which is the fastest Ive ever gotten there. We stopped in Baker, which is about an hour from Vegas, it was already 90 degrees. Once we arrived, we ate breakfast then went to our hotel to check in. We waited over an hour in the check in line. We passed the time by talking to this old couple who gave us gambling advice. Unfortunately, it didnt work. We got into our rooms at noon and took a long nap. We received a coupon book when we got our rooms and one them was a free day pass at the spa. So we went over and used the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. It was so relaxing. Went to New York New York hotel for dinner then back to our rooms to get ready. Met up with Joey and his friend, walked the strip, gambled, tried going to a strip club but the cover charges were ridiculous. So we went back to our room and went to bed. The next morning we got our stuff together in order to be out of the room by 12. Joey and his friend went back to their room to do the same. We had lunch at a nasty buffet place then headed home. Drove in 110 degree weather for the majority of the day, we were miserable.
I have jury duty tomorrow. I really hope I dont get picked to be on a trial.
