Chris came home with the local newspaper today. I thought it odd, so I asked him about it...then he showed me the obituaries.

A guy I went to high school with died last night. Chris heard through the 'grapevine' it was an overdose. I'm still pretty shocked. I wasn't really close to him, but I talked to him and shared the occasional joint here and there.

Weird.
