Another day, another chance to explore.
Roxas figures he'll find his "place of solace" if he looks hard enough. He's curious as to what his is, but he's sure he'll know it when he sees it. (That's what he tells himself, anyway.) So when he wakes up, he makes a mark on his personal diary of what day it is (not his PORTAL; he's learned that lesson), and opens a dark corridor with the intention of heading into the city.
Unfortunately, the portal opens up right behind someone, so when Roxas steps out, he walks right into him.
"Gah!"
It's his instinctive reaction to everything, okay.
