Today is a very special day, to Kairi. They're all together, all three of them, and they're going to look for a house in her place of solace. Their home islands... Sort of. It won't really have any of the people on it. But it's going to be as close to "home" as they can get, and maybe, if it's all three of them, it really is home. Either way, when her feet touch down on the sand, she squishes her feet into the sand, shoes and all. It's nice, and she can't help but grin before turning to the boys.
"Come on! If we find one fast enough, we can probably move in today!" she says, excited. But part of the reason is that this gets their minds off all of the bad things. It's not like Sora died, or Riku used darkness or any of that. For a moment--just a moment--nothing happen and they're just them, no weight or baggage or limits. Just three friends looking for a house and nothing more.
For that moment, life is simple again.
