DATE MANOR - open to any who know Koju or his Lord (or anyone nearby)

[ well isn't this peachy. Here he is after fighting off nightmares and monsters at the gates of the manor, alone, lordless. He isn't about to let anything close to it.

Bolts of blue lightning snap through the air around the manor as Kojuro defends his lord's home. He could use some help. ]

DAY 4

[Welp. Hi Kojuro.

At this point, thanks to the aftermath of the entire fight with Psuedo, Madsen's body has done a very peculiar thing - after being fully in synch with Nithal, it seemed to exhaust her soul more than anything else, so for the moment, you're dealing with a phoenix trapped in the girl's body while she rests up.

"Her" eyes are white-gold,, shich is probably the first sign that something's not exactly right. The more somber and serious tone in "her" voice probably doesn't help that. But it doesn't look like there's much trouble in taking out the monsters, at least.]

Kojuro! Do you need any assistance?

DAY 4

[ Kojuro sends one more bolt of lightning with the swipe of his sword at a gaggle of only marginally threatening shadows off to the side then he notices Masden. ]

Masden?

[ As a strategist, he was trained to be extremely observant, sensitive to his surroundings and to change. Something seemed off about her. She was warn out, signs of battle very present, yet something more was off. What, he wasn't quite sure yet. He made no change in his stance, his back still to the walls of his lord's manor. ]

[She presses her lips into a thin smile before a flaming slash and resheathing of one of the swords on her hip signals a few skeletal hands trying to reach for her to retreat back into the ground.]

In a sense. I apologize if this seems ... awkward. I'm actually her partner, Nithal. There was a fight the other day that exhausted her beyond her limits, so I was forced to take over in an effort to make sure that those she knew were going to be okay. Before you ask, she is okay, simply resting. I plan on stopping somewhere to rest after this, I do not want to test the limits of this more than we already have.

[ Kojuro stares for a moment. The only time he'd seen something living inside another was demonic possession. This didn't seem the case here. Kojuro's not the most trusting person outside the Date, but the future dream still stuck to his mind. He simply felt he could trust her with that odd sense of familiarity. Her partner could potentially also be trusted.

Right now, the best option was to trust this Nithal. ]

Are you able to fight now?

Of course. I wouldn't have made the effort to try and seek out other people if there wasn't at least a small chance to fight back. Unlike my partner, I have a better idea of how to test our limits.

[There's a small nod before a hand is on the handle of the third sword strapped to Madsen's back.]

I would appreciate the help. Once the manor is safe, I can find you a place to rest.

[ He never offered his lord's manor for anyone, as it wasn't his to offer, but the situation right now is different. Offering safety for an ally, surely Masamune would understand his reasoning. If not, well Kojuro expected a scolding or a smack on the head. Or something. ]

day three; (near safe areas)

[ one might see a flash of silver when they approach the more safe areas--places to be marked for people to rest and find solace. his white wings outstretched, he sits near the doors, near the pathways, helping those that are too weak or near exhausted get to safety. instead of his blue robes, he wears silver armor, even a helmet of silver.

when there's someone needing help via the PORTAL, he's soaring high to make sure they are picked up, if he himself doesn't help them. sometimes he just flies above to make sure people aren't dragged down below, aren't ... victims.

and if they aren't helped, he's there to fight the monsters off and then escort them to somewhere that's safe. ]

[Senka has just ejected a few civilians out of the shadows into a relatively safe area. They're somewhat disoriented, given how Senka conducts rescues, but what's more important is that they're safe.

She herself is coming out, before she forgets what actual ground feels like.]

[ he glances up upon seeing her and steps to the side, letting them pass by into the house. he watches them and turns back just in time to see her, approaching her, concerned. not for the darkness, but for her state.

however, he'll admit--her darkness is incredible strong, and his own power over the dark forces thrums pleasantly when he reaches out to touch her arm. ]

[...This is...weird...Granted, this guy is one of hers, technically speaking. But still weird.]

[ he moves back and his wings fold behind him, his helmeted head inclining. ]
