Its late and she scolds herself to staying overlong at her brother's, even if it was very important training. Night had fallen and her housemates were probably rolling on the floor in hunger pains around now. Tch, she might be spoiling them too much with cooking meals every day.
Grocery bags looped over both arms, she walks down the main road as opposed to shunpoing, letting herself cooldown from hours of training and and enjoy the night wind that stirred in from the ocean. Sometimes, she could appreciate the effects of TENEKA - quiet and peaceful nights with just the sound of people walking and the summer cicadas. It was nice to just walk in the palpable quiet and soak it in.
And perhaps she does a bit too much soaking in when she turns to cross a street the same time a woman on a strange vehicle turns her head to look down an alleyway. Rukia turns to blink in the sudden halogen beams of headlights before dropping the groceries from her arms and, to the driver's view, simply blurring from sight and appearing a few feet away. Staring at the driver, Rukia runs forward to her.
"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!"

My apologies, I wasn't watching where I was going. That was foolish of me.

I'm fine, I managed to shunpo out of the way in time. I don't think any of the groceries were damaged either. A bit of a wry grin, she held up the bottle of soy sauce in demonstration. See? Not even a crack.

The helmet folded back in on itself, allowing Quorra to shake her hair out as it revealed her face. She tilted her head curiously.

Rukia smiles a bit when Quorra pulls her helmet back. Feeling obligated to do so, she waves at the girl again.

Quorra waved back.

It was somewhat strange to be standing on a street like this with a stranger. But strange was the norm in this city, wasn't it? Her eyes jot down to the bike, then the nose of it, wincing. There was a scuff on the lightcycle where a bag had crashed into it.
Sorry, I think I injured your bike.
