Who: nicepartner and platinumdawn
What: It's time for a Pokémon battle!
Where: Everywhere. No, but seriously -- in front of where Dawn is staying because Ash is awesome like that.
When: The 13th, late 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
Warnings: So you want to be a master?

Dawn wasn't long booking it down in front of her building to meet Ash face-to-face (although arguably, the more important thing was having a battle). She'd barely stopped to remind herself she needed to wear that mask, but once that was in place, very little was going to get in the way of a proper battle. Ash had only seen Helia yet, so at least she had some surprise factor still going.

When she ducked out the door, it was pretty easy to spot her opponent. "Hey, you're Ash, right?"

Ash gave a slight nod, feeling a bit unsure, but then he realized that it was Dawn who he was speaking to. "Yeah!" Oh, right, he almost forgot something important, so he decided to ask. "Er, where're we gonna have the battle? Here?"

"Probably not right here," she glanced around; Too many chances someone could get caught in the crossfire. "But we could probably have the match a little ways away. If that's alright with you."

Ash gave a grin in response before nodding. "It's fine with both of us - right, Pikachu?" As he glanced at his partner, who was sitting on his shoulder, he grinned while placing its right arm, showing off its power and squealing its usual, "Pika-pika!"

Then, laughing sheepishly, placing his right hand behind his head without removing the mask, he asked, "Er... would'ja like to lead the way, though?"
