[ It's summer, and if there's one thing Kanji's learned in the past ten years, it's that summer means weddings and engagements and romance, even more so than Valentine's Day. He isn't as busy during the summer anyway, not when everyone wants sun dresses that don't take him too long to make (he could probably stitch them in his sleep) or don't want to wear enough to bother going to someone who actually sews instead of just dreaming something up. He doesn't blame them; he remembers being sixteen, wearing his wife beater and jeans and complaining about how hot it was, but never stripping down because Lior was there and what if she walked in.
He chuckles just thinking about it. He had been excruciatingly awkward back then. Now, at 26, they're still together and he's been thinking, as people seem prone to do around this time of year, about the future. About weddings. So he sits in the back room of the textile shop, making sure that the "SORRY, WE'RE CLOSED" sign is up on the door, surrounded by wedding dresses that he made himself, and he waits for Lior to come meet him. He has something to ask her. ]
