Since her arrival at Promenade, Nepeta had mostly been trying to get her bearings as well as process the fact that before her arrival she had been killed. As days passed, however, she was beginning to move past that and focus more on adjusting to her new home.
She was now staying in her own room, having remembered that she had woken up in House 12 all along. Being in the same house as Equius was reassuring for her - while she always insisted she could look after herself, it didn't hurt knowing that he was close at hand if something did happen. Even so, that didn't mean she wasn't going to head out and explore by herself.
She wasn't really sure where she would start. As she stepped out of the house, mask in place as required, she scanned the streets. Though trolls were nocturnal by nature, Nepeta had found that since arriving her sleep patterns were rather less predictable. Besides, she had gleaned enough to know that more people would be around during the day, and it would certainly make things easier if they were able to converse without invading each other's minds.
After a moment's scrutiny, she picked a direction seemingly at random and began walking, no real destination in mind. This was an adventure; as long as she could find House 12 again at the end she didn't really care where said adventure took her.
