The fact that he would be forced to share accommodation was almost the straw that broke the camel's back for Wesker. He was a solitary creature by nature and did not enjoy interaction unless it was entirely necessary. The only reason it was 'almost' was because, apparently, it would be necessary for the time being.

And at any rate, perhaps he'd find someone of help to him here. At the very least, he could wait and see who he found. Hasty judgements would only cause more problems.

March isn't a naturally helpful being; Quite the opposite, he's a bit of a bastard with a habit tending towards sitting in the corner with popcorn. But for now, he wants to meet his fellow housemates.

Not to make friends, but rather to gauge the threat levels. And right now...

Well, right now, he was seriously debating who he'd have to sleep with for about ten weapons upgrades. He had the bad feeling that he was not a match for most of it's occupants in combat.

...So you can imagine he isn't exactly happy to see Wesker, although it doesn't show on his face.

"Another one, or just having a sleep over?"

Looking over at the stranger, Wesker isn't particularly impressed by what he sees - but then again, he chides himself, he's had trouble with less impressive specimens before. Best not to be dismissive and at any rate, this person was good enough to strike up a conversation with him.

"I'm not exactly one for sleepovers, I must admit," he says drily with a thin smile. "So, yes, another one." He readjusts his sunglasses ever so slightly. It's difficult to tell how much of a threat the boy might be but Wesker doubted he'd ever had trouble with him. "Does that mean there are many others, then?"

It's not like March appears much in the way of a threat; He's smaller than he should be, underfed enough for it to show, and his smile looks as friendly as his body language is open.

But internally March is already plotting how to deal with this. He'd need a way to learn their powers, a way to neutralize the threats. He'd already learned the lay-out of the second floor 'helping' someone, but if he didn't know what tech was in play, there was no point in setting up anything.

This would be so much easier if this game was played properly.

"I wouldn't know, I'm not the type to go lurking outside windows, but it seems like there are plenty of kidnapping victims here."

Wesker nods slightly, processing what little information he has so far. That's what irritates him the most so far, the fact that he's completely in the dark about everything. He much prefers to remain in control and that means he'd have to be holding all the cards.

"It's quite a feat, getting so many people here at once," he says thoughtfully. "And this is certainly not a city I have ever heard of. It makes escape that bit more difficult." He'd been glancing around and now he focuses on March again. "Where do you come from?"

Sebastian hadn't said much of anything to anybody. He had, instead, taken to scrutinizing those he had the misfortune to share a flat with. It was an interesting lot, to say the least, the very least, but no one in particular really stood out, .. well, perhaps that wasn't, entirely, true.

He smirks, and strolls on over to meet Wesker. "I don't think that we have, formally, met. I am Sebastian Michaelis, and I believe we share a floor."

Wesker gives this new man a cursory glance. Quite well-dressed, to say the least, and Wesker supposes that's something in his favour. "A pleasure, I'm sure," he says lightly. As long as a floor was all that he'd have to share, he'd cope. "My name is Albert Wesker." Perhaps anywhere else, he might have taken on an alias, but the odd telepathy at night would only complicate matters. Better to keep this sort of thing simple.

He offers his own crooked smile. "Can I assume that you are indeed a butler, from your clothing?"

He smiles, politely, and as Wesker introduces himself, Sebastian bows his head. "It's a pleasure, Mister Wesker." It wouldn't be much else at all, as Sebastian neither eats, nor sleeps.

"I am, indeed, a Butler." How observant. He bites back a chuckle. "My Master is not yet here, however, .. but that's hardly something worth getting into." His smirk broadens, the gesture, nearly, splitting his face into two. "I figured I might as well offer, to you, my services. In the meantime, at least."

Wesker gives Sebastian a sidelong look. The words coming out of his mouth were polite and innocuous enough but combined with that smirk, Wesker has a sense there's far more to him than meets the eye. After all, the smirk is the sort of expression Wesker himself is used to wearing.

"That is very kind of you," Wesker says, considering the offer. "Although I'm afraid I'd have nothing to pay you with. And would your master not be displeased if you were to work for someone else?"

Sebastian lets Wesker take some time to mull over the, recently given, offer. He hadn't expected an immediate answer, as it was, indeed, a lot to take in. He didn't think that many strangers approached Wesker with the promise of almost anything, but, then again, stranger things have, surely, happened.

He bows his head, respectfully, but says nothing in regards to the kindness of the offer. "I do not require any sort of payment." Not from Wesker, anyway. ".. my Master is not here. He's not hold over me right now and, besides, it would do him some good to learn to share."

The offer is tempting, certainly - to have someone available to do as he wished would obviously be a great help in this strange city where he didn't seem to know anyone else (as yet he hadn't come across anyone from his world, friend or foe) but that's just it: he doesn't know anyone, least of all this butler offering his services.

So Wesker asks one final question. "I won't argue with you about your master then. But there are no catches, are there?" Wesker gives Sebastian a sidelong look. "Something to stab me in the back at a later date?"

a catch. Sebastian couldn't help but to chuckle. It was rare that someone challenged his, alleged, kindness. He didn't mind, though, as it meant that who, or what, ever Sebastian was speaking to was relatively intelligent.

"I have absolutely no intention of stabbing you in the back, Mister Wesker. But we are roommates and, being that we are forced to coexist in the confines of House #14, I thought I may as well be cordial." Sebastian smiled. ".. that, and I have yet to recognize anybody here and, frankly, promenade's populace leaves much to be desired."

"I see."

And yes, he did think he could see - he did agree that the current residents of Promenade were not all they could be. And even if Sebastian had some other ploy at work, Wesker was fairly confident he could deal with whatever the butler threw at him. "Then, Sebastian, I will accept your services. And with that being the case, if you don't mind, I'd like you to inform me of your capabilities." Wesker's eyes flashed behind the sunglasses, only briefly, but still there.

"Mm." as Wesker accepted the offer, Sebastian, inherently, moved closer to him. He hadn't a clear cut agenda, yet, but it couldn't hurt to have a couple ❛reliable❜ connections for later on.

"I do not think that you will be disappointed with my services, Mister Wesker." Sebastian's lips creased, suddenly, to form a tight knit smirk as his own eyes flashed. ".. what, specifically, would you like to know about? I am one H e l l of a Butler and, that being said, I can do many things."

Wesker tensed. He may have accepted the services but he certainly didn't trust Sebastian as far as he could throw him, not yet and probably never would, and he had never liked anyone, much less almost-strangers, getting too close.

He removed his sunglasses to reveal narrowed eyes glowing a faint red. But his tone was mild. "You abilities, of course. An example of just one of these 'many things', if you will. I have an idea that you are more than what you appear."
