What: Ichigo is trying to find a happy medium with his not-so-inner hollow. Obviously this means a shopping trip is in order. Kanji's textile shop, and Lior meeting her newest Knight properly, too~

It's already 1:30. Jeez, and I thought I slept late.

[ Ichigo pulled a face at being told to supply the hollow with clothes. Only fair, I guess

Ichigo had already been up, and dressed for over an hour by now. But, he did jerk open his chest of drawers, and pull out another pair of jeans that the hollow had cut a hole in for that tail. That, plus a pair of striped socks, and a blue, black, and grey striped scarf get tossed over Shiro's head. Ichigo, just grabs Zangetsu up from the zanpakutou's spot propped next to the head of his bed, and props the massive blade over his shoulder. ]

Shoes are downstairs. I'll wait down there for you.

[ Ever since the nightmares of monsters, and the Nightwyrm had been sprung on a completely unsuspecting populace, Ichigo didn't go anywhere without his sword anymore. Even if having his zanpakutou propped over his shoulder looked a little odd while wearing normal clothes.
But, giving the hollow a few minutes to change, Ichigo thumped down the steps, taking them two at a time as was his habit, and pulled on the cool, leather, and suede boots he had to go with the fingerless gloves on his hands. Then, he just waited for lazypants-hollow to get moving. ]

[sleeping all day is just something he does, ok. He stretches and pops his back and neck, then scrambles to try and catch the clothes] Do you hafta THROW everything? Jeez.

[Shirosaki took his precious time getting ready. By the time he gets downstairs, he's got a pretty decent "thrown together" look going on, with his currently shoulder-length hair in a loose ponytail, the scarf carelessly thrown around his neck and his tail through the hole. He hops down the stairs on one foot as he pulls on one of his socks, cursing at it. THERE. SUCCESS! Why were clothes so difficult.

he pulls on a pair of sneakers and looks up at Ichigo] Yer bringin' Zangetsu ta go shoppin'? Should I bring mine, too? [he grins. Of course, that black-wrapped Zangetsu is no where to be found. In fact, it hasn't even showed up once since he'd been here]

Me, and Heine got caught out on the street when shit hit the fan the last time. We'd have been screwed if I didn't have Zangetsu with me, and he didn't have his guns. I'm not taking any chances anymore.

[ Seriously. Ichigo, and Heine were talking about Heine's total social ineptness, and suddenly the sky went dark. After watching Krypta die, and Rukia almost die ( not to mention the arrival of a certain hollow ) Ichigo felt justified in his paranoia. ]

...Wait, you have a zanpakutou? Where is it?

[well, stuff like that didn't happen very often, but he had to admit, it wasn't bad logic. He quirks a brow at the word "guns". What good are little pieces of metal against most big monsters?

He grins and taps his chest right above his hollow hole] It's right here! [he holds out his hand and a ball of black and red energy forms there. With a "fwoosh" it grows and lengthens into a thing shaped like Zangetsu's shikai form. The flames seem to peel back to form the black cloth ribbon and the blueish grey strap around the hollow's back, and Shiro grabs on to the newly formed tang of his white blade. He grins and twirls it once with flourish and with a very "And this is why I am SO much better than YOU" look. The cloth wraps around it and he puts it on his back]

[ That...was equal parts cool, and creepy as hell. Ichigo just watches the little flourish, then gives a deadpan look at his hollow.

Then turns on his heel, and heads out the door. ]

Show off. You coming, or what?

[holeheart]

[he just cackles and follows after, arms folded and SO SMUG]

You're just jealous! Don't pretend you aren't! I figured that out the other day.

[ WEAPONS GRADE TSUN. ]

'Tch! Jealous of what?

[ Yes, Ichigo had his mask with him. But, currently, it's pushed up on the top of his head. He wasn't kidding when he told Genero he was never going to wear the damn thing again. Buuut, Ichigo doesn't want to get other people around him into trouble over it, so he keeps it with him. Just in case. ]

[Shiro just cackles and summons his own mask; a perfectly inverted version of Ichigo's that forms on his face like a solid shadow]

Of my mad weapon summoning skills. And mask summoning skills. All of my skills in general, hehehehe!! [he catches up to walk beside Ichigo] You aren't gonna wear yours? What if that ass catches you?

[ Sputter! ]

You're a part of me to begin with, so all that stuff is, by extension, part of me, too. How can I be jealous of my damn abilities?! 'Tch!

[ Not even gracing the hollow with a look. Hmph. ]

He can go fuck himself. I'm not going to wear it.

[ Shunpo to cut the trip down, and lessen the urge to chuck that stupid mask into the ocean. ]

[he just shrugs and holds his hands out]

Ahhh, I guess! But they're only really YOURS if I let you borrow them, right? Zangetsu could refuse you his abilities, so can I! [sort of. To a point. Ichigo could force him if he really needed to; he WAS the King after all] No, I think it's fuckin' with YOU that he's more interested in.

Ueh! Wait! [taking off after him with Shunpo... wait, that's not shunpo. That is not the noise shunpo makes. No, ladies and gents, that is grade A sonído] Hehehe! Sonído! I'm the genuine article!

[...So he was a hollow through, and through, huh? Complete with hollow abilities. Ichigo doesn't comment on that, but does pick up a the pace a little. ]

He likes to pretend it never happened, now. Supposedly he got 'punished', but most of what Tivorno, or Valrune say is pretty suspect to me.

[ No siree, that nightmare business did not help Ichigo's opinion on this city's illustrious rulers. Genero also being back to business as usual - without the public apology - rankled, too.
But, pushing those thoughts aside, Ichigo pauses on a rooftop to check his PORTAL. ]

Okaaay...Now it's...east.

[ Points. They should be able to see it pretty soon. Ah the joys of dream physics. ]

[he just snickers as he follows, downright proud of himself. After all, only real Hollows used Sonído, and only strong ones at that. He wondered if being shoved into this weird pseudo-human body had changed that and it hadn't]

Punished! Probably got a slap on the wrist for Their Majesties, Queen Maskface and King Mute Button.

[When Ichigo pauses, so does the Hollow, and he looks around the city. Not a half-bad place. Very clean] All these buildings kinda look the same.

The 'city parts' do. But, when you get close to someone's Place of Solace, it just...changes.

[ Case, and point? The fact they must have been looking out at an entire city block from the rooftops, but with just one more short step of shunpo, there's a shop, with the big sign declaring that the Tatsumi Textile shop was right there.
But, right after dropping out of shunpo onto the sidewalk, Ichigo pauses to wait for his hollow. ]

Wait, everyone gets one of those things? Do I get one?

[he follows after, landing next to Ichigo and looking at the sign] Lior said a "knight" runs this shop. Is this "Knight" like Ishida, then? [he snickers to himself] Makin' frilly dresses for stuffed animals on the honor of the Quincy? Heeehehehehe!

Well, I don't think my Place of Solace is the same as yours, so...I'm not sure. Maybe you do?

[ Pushing the question away, Ichigo tries to frown sternly at the hollow, but a smirk pushes through all the same. ]

The guy that runs this place is her friend. She, uh, calls him a knight, because he looks out for her. I think. But, it's something to do with her culture.

She, um...kind of decided I was a knight, too

[ akjdsh SO AWKWARD. Probably because Ichigo secretly liked the idea of being someone's knight. ]

Anyway, she's really nice. But the guy that runs this place? Well, I don't know him very well. So, just...be civil, okay? No reason to tear up someone's Place of Solace, right?

[ Hnnngh...okay, he can't really meet Shiro's eyes when saying that. Yes, Ichigo felt kind of weird about all this, but he really was trying to give Shirosaki a fair chance...it's just...well, it seemed to Ichigo that in order to be fair, Shiro might need to be told beforehand? ]

No, it sure ain't. Yer house is nice and all, but... if I had to pick somewhere I felt the most comfortable, that wouldn't be it. Close, but not quite.

[he sees that smirk and it only serves to intensify his own grin. You know you like making fun of Ishida~]

Hah! Well of course, right? Knights protect things, don't they? That' kind of their whole... ya know [vague handwave] Schtick. That and slaying dragons. And since you can't slay me, I guess we'll be ok. [a chuckle and a small prod at Ichigo's lower back with his tail]

[he huffs a little, indignant] I'll be civil! As long as he doesn't try and start nothin'! Cause I can guarantee you, I'd finish it!
