It doesn't seem to matter whether Angela wound up with a date or not, because she's out on the dance floor instead of snuggling up in a corner. Ever her attention-grabbing, I'm-the-center-of-the-universe self, she's shaking it like nobody's business and drifting from partner to partner, thoroughly enjoying herself.

Let it never be said that Angie doesn't know how to have a good time.

And one of those people that she danced with happened to be none other than Ezio Auditore. Without his hood and his extravagant robes he had to wonder if the woman would recognise him.

When she spun over to him, he pulled her against his chest, leaning over to whisper in her ear; "It's good to see you smiling again, Angela." instead of glaring death at him.

"Well hello there, stranger." Angela moved close, much closer than she was ever taught to dance by her tutors at in Altena. Pretty much all her etiquette lessons were going out the window tonight. One arm around Ezio's neck, she rocked her hips to the music and winked at him. "Finally decided to show yourself?"

"I thought I was 'handsome'?" He feigned a hurt look for all of three seconds, only to end up smirking as he set his hands on her hips; moving his own in time with hers. "For tonight I see no harm in showing myself." he chuckled, spinning the both of them once, "I do not need to ask if you're enjoying yourself, do I?"

"I don't know, if you keep hiding that good-looking face of yours away, I might forget how handsome you are!" Angela had learned more moves from watching the black market dancers in Byzel than from her instructors, and it showed from how she leaned against him, grinning that up-to-know-good grin. "That wouldn't have anything to do with how many pretty ladies showed up tonight, would it?"

And no, he need not ask, particularly when she give his butt a good swat and winked at him. This really was just what she needed after all that ridiculous dying-and-coming-back crap. Just to let go and have some fun for once.

"I doubt that, but maybe I'll make an exception for you." Maybe. He did have reasons for hiding his face...maybe he could just tease her about that from now on. He held no objections to the way she was dancing, and did his best to mimic her movements, "Of course not. I'm insulted you think me so shallow, Angela."

When swatted, Ezio couldn't help but laugh, sliding one of his hands down just a little more as they continued dancing--though with these two it looked like something else entirely at this point.

"I'd like that. Despite all the people here, it can get pretty lonely." Were there other meanings to those words? Who knew. Angela certainly wasn't the most experienced girl around, but she was feeling terribly aggressive tonight. And while they were busy being the king and queen of inappropriate dancing on the ballroom floor, Angela was enjoying the charge to the dance and the conversation. "Don't even try hiding it, handsome. You're a lady's man, I can tell."

The music had started to slow down, she looped her other arm about his neck. "It's not unattractive."

Ezio just stared at her a moment, taking his time trying to see for himself if there were other meanings behind her words. He wouldn't address it directly, but it would obviously not be forgotten anytime soon. "Well it isn't right for a lovely woman to be lonely, so I'll be more than happy to remedy that." he laughed again at the accusation, "There is no reason to hide the fact that I enjoy the company of a woman." or multiple women, "Especially one such as yourself."

He kept his arms around her waist, leaning in closer--were it even possible-- and smirking, "Well I'm glad you aren't discouraged then."

She grinned and leaned in, juuuust enough that she could, theoretically kiss him, instead she touched her nose to his. "Good. You're one of the only fun people here, after all."

Oh she'd tried flirting with the rest of the male population here. Either they slung insults back or they flirted cautiously-- or both. Angela appreciated any kind of attention, but she certainly preferred a more positive response, like the one she seemed to get from Ezio.

"I'm difficult to discourage once I've got my mind set."

Ezio stilled himself as she leaned in, narrowing his eyes softly and knowing all too well that she was teasing him. No matter, he could do the same. "That's a shame, but at least I know I'll be able to entertain you, si?"

Honestly, he hadn't really gone about flirting with a lot of the women here, but for the most part he seemed to get a relatively good response. If he had really been paying attention he might have thought about it more, but he was not one to get discouraged easily either.

"What a determined woman you are, I knew there was a reason I liked you, Angela."

Teasing was what Angela did best, after all. "Definitely."

She appreciated the compliment, and it showed in her eyes. Determined was a good word for it. A much better change from 'stubborn and obnoxious.' "Any plans for after the party? Or do you turn into a conchurnip at midnight?"

He would never think her stubborn and obnoxious. She seemed like a very strong and determined woman and that was something he admired and actually looked for in a woman.

"A concurnip?" he shook his head, "No plans as of yet, but i'm always open to change."

"It's a fairy tale from back home. There's a charming prince who's a conchurnip in the day, because he's just too good to be true." Whether this is the arrow spell or just pure Angie is anyone's guess. She has a way of laying the flirting on thick regardless of whether she's been hit by cupid.

She tipped her head to the side, doing her best to look innocent. Or, well, very falsely innocent. "Oh, well, it'd be awful lonely walking home alone after the party, you see..."

Kanji hadn't wanted to come, not exactly, but the spell he'd been put under when Philon shot him in the ass was making it more or less mandatory. Wearing his typical casual outfit (the one with no glasses), only nicely spruced up with a pair of black leather pants, the teen was doing his best to scowl at everything and everyone that came too close. Thanks to the spell, however, he was doing a much better job of blushing and trying to kiss everyone that came too close.

Valentine's Day was very quickly becoming one of his least favorite holidays.

And here comes Philon himself, strolling up to Kanji, a wicked grin on his face.

"Mmm, hello handsome~"
