[Madsen's got a travel mug full of tea, and honestly, Valentine's Day hasn't really been in her itinerary of things to be worrying about. Today? Was just a day to relax and move along, get a few small things finished before heading back to do some training exercises.

The fact that there was a prickling feeling at the back of her neck wasn't helping, though. There was someone around, she knew she was being watched, but by who or what she couldn't figure out.]

[And guess who's coming around the corner, hand on hilt, sword out, and wary as all hell? If you guessed this kid, you'd be spot on.

A second passes by, and Madsen can see him whirl, Red Queen blocking an arrow aimed directly for him.]

Shit, where the hell is it coming from?

[He won't admit he's been chased halfway across the city from the get-go, but it's getting really annoying now. He can't see whatever's firing at him, and as a result he looks like he's scrambling. A growl rises in his throat and he curses again under his breath, a 'tch' sounding in disgust.]

[Her body realizes someone's there before her mind catches up, and she ends up shipping around with Phoenix Fire, longsword in a defensive position. Unfortunately by this point her mind still hadn't caught up to her, and she ended up slamming into the other person, thinking they were the ones that did the deed, eyes narrowed and fist cocked and ready to swing when -]

[And down they both go, Nero unaware that someone's right behind him as he's too occupied on acting in a defensive bout, tripping over his own feet (though Lii's slam towards the ground doesn't help much) and toppling like an idiot.

Of course, once he recovers by nearly shoving poor Lii off, not to mention clutching his head from where he hit it after falling, his eyes are searching for wherever the supposed attacker might come from. Hand reaches out for the Red Queen, alert and ready to attack if need be-

And of course, as soon as he does that, PWING. Said arm is struck with an arrow. It hurts like hell, but when he goes to pull it out, it's already gone. And leaving behind one confused devil hunter.]
