ugh. this post reminds me so much of the feeling i had when george bush made his first victory speech in '04, after i thought we really had a chance. which is not to say that the situation is exactly the same, but. massive disappointment.

Thing is, we all knew a right victory was impending, but it's just the concrete sight of seeing him in front of number 10. The actuality is dismaying.

We shall simply to endure it, somehow, as you did, and spend the next five years apologising.
