Ah, so its kin of like she transfers her power over to Morgana to use since atm she appears to be on the mend form what happened to her last season ? Thats good since I am still wanting a massive Merlin / Morgause showdown before she dies or is de-powered.

I wonder though if the spoilers of the 'sisters' searching for Emrys means that although Morgana is the one to face Merlin in the season, behind the scenes we will see both Morgana and Morgause searching out this Emrys across the land together.

And just one more question - is the seeds already sown here that Merlin is going to be very underappreciated when everyone else is going to go higher up on the court food chair while he remains a servant ? Capps made a point of this becoming a point of pain and isolation for Merlin that everyone will be gaining a new status while Merlin still remains the same servant role, perhaps even alienating himself from not only Arthur but Gwen as well.

I just hope my theory comes true in that in the last episode of the season Merlin HAS to perform some massive magical feat to defeat Morgana and thus his true identity of Emrys is revealed to everyone, thus leaving everyone open mouthed and WTF and basically making Arthur question everything he knows about Merlin.
