oh, spaniards - you can't spell!
so, right now i'm in the philadelphia airport killing time during a long layover. i just wanted to give any of you int'l travellers out there a piece of advice: never bring home wine, much less three bottles of it. it's so fragile that you have to bring it in your carry-on luggage, which means that you have to carry it around all day on top of all the other things you already have, thus causing yourself severe pain and suffering. i have three bottles of wine from a bodega i visited in spain in one of my carry-ons and i'm about tempted to either throw them away or chug them all real quick in the bathroom. however, they're the gift i brought back for my parents, so i'll continue to carry them along with me.
other than this, the travel home has been average. the in-flight movie was taxi, the one with jimmy fallon and queen latifah, but the projector malfunctioned about 15 minutes into it, so i guess that was a good thing. however, that meant that i had nothing to watch all trip and was forced to (try to) sleep.
also, all those spaniards who think americans eat unhealthy - haaahhh. i haven't seen a green vegetable in 6 weeks...everything there is meaty and cheesy and fried and served with a side of bread and potatoes. and the milk tastes like baby formula.
enough grumbling - a happy, reminiscent post is coming up soon enough.
