I went and got a library card yesterday. Ran out of books in my house to read and desperately needed something. The library has a really poorly kept selection of English books. Out of order, not filed neatly, and just junky books. I am just appreciative that there is any to be had.

Also, yesterday was a beautiful day. I got off my bum and did something with it after work. Went on a small bike ride and did a small hill climb to the castle ruins around here. Not really anything there but a nice view of the city.

I am craving peanut butter.

I am a bit annoyed by friends(ok so far only two but still) who want to come and visit, but they want me to do all the planning... I mean I know I know the most about the area and can speak some and all that, but COME ON! You should be able to do some of your own research. I don't think it's fair to just say "Hey I just want to experience something new. Make plans?" I don't know what you find interesting. And since I have been here, the places worth the visit and close to me are probably going to be places I have already seen. I have no problem with that, but would rather not go back to someplace you don't have any interest in. I also don't think "I don't speak the language" is a good excuse. I planned a trip 5 years ago with NO Japanese. It's possible. Sorry if this comes off as rude. I have no problems showing people cool things that I have found. I just want some interest and effort on your part. It doesn't even have to be much. Just a little.
