I WAS a fan of the history channel
I was, until tonight. I was watching this show that was supposed to be about cults. They talk about some cult where the dude said he was Christ reincarnated. Then they talked about Jim Jones (you know, the poisoned kool aid guy) having confession time in his meetings so that he could initiate public beatings. Then they talk about some current guy who raped and imprisoned children as part of his cult rituals or something. and then they, in this manner where they were obviously drawing comparisons to all of the cult leaders, introduced Jesus as one of those cult leaders. talk about offensive.
