ferret fest delayed
Last Friday I contacted Marshall Pet Products. Bert, the ferret we currently have came from Marshall. We actually bought him from PetCo (they get their ferrets from Marshall). Hilary heard from a ferret community that if you contacted Marshall about having purchased a deaf ferret you could get fifty dollars back or another ferret. So as some of you probably can conclude, we are going to get a second fuzzy.
I contacted them and was informed that I'd have to get a vet to verify that he was deaf so two weeks ago we got that documented. The vet visit with shots cost $122, getting a new one at the pet store cost about $129 so we still make out ahead. So Friday I faxed over the letter from the vet, our receipt from PetCo and the Marshall guarantee stub. After they verified all the information, I get an email from them that they would contact the PetCo we bought Bert from. They got in touch with the store, but it turns out that they were out of ferrets. :( So we have to wait two weeks for their next shipment.
This is disappointing; I wanted to have the ferret gift workshop up and running before Thanksgiving.
