Well, it's certainly about time this happened, and so Cosette can be found sitting in bed, holding baby Georges. There was likely lots of spazzing and flailing on the part of Cosette, Georgiana and Marius during the whole birthing process, but things are calm now, and anyone who'd like to pay a visit is more than welcome.

He first considered sending off a careless note, to the effect of 'Congratulations, don't screw it up' but after beginning and discarding some seven or so different opening phrases, Tholomyes has decided that it might simply be easier to go and offer his good will and congratulations in person.

Consequently, here he is, with an air of vague sheepishness and hasty grooming. He stood before the door for nearly as many minutes as it took him to make up his mind to come in the first place, before finally knocking upon it.
