Attendance at the demos was better than I anticipated, and I'm hoping to expand upon them next year as well as introduce another suggestion for food enthusiasts. Also, I finished the Tardis cake and the adipose mini cakes so they could be displayed on Saturday, but it took a long time. This was my first attempt at a 3-D cake, and I think it went well despite the fact that I didn't have time, functioning brain capacity or energy near the end to complete the details.
Despite some missing details, the cake seemed to go off well with the attendees. It took me at least two full days to make the Tardis, and it disappeared in about 10 minutes after first cutting into it. It was so cool that lots of people came by to watch the cutting and eat a slice. All in all, I'm pleased with my work and have new knowledge and experience for future cakes. I'll soon post some pics of the work in progress if anyone is interested in making the Tardis or adipose cakes.
